Memorial Day Memories

We had a couple of special visitors this weekend! Grandma Connie and Kaylee. Kaylee came down to do some shopping with me and to get her Senior photos taken by the very talented neighbor Jerry. Grandma stayed back to help out and spend time with the boys (all 3!) It was a very nice, relaxing weekend with some beautiful weather. We spent lots of time outdoors and even visited the pool the first weekend it opened. Always nice to have family and visitors here to keep us company - and we even got away for a little date night since we had some built in babysitters for the night! Shoot us an e-mail or give us a call and book your summer trip down - we would LOVE to see you all. Lots to do here with the Dodson's in KC.

Lance squirting Dad, cooling him off.

Chase too! Water was a bit too cold for Chase. Even when we dipped his toes and legs in, he cried. Not a fan of the very chilled water, but he didn't mind the little squirts on his legs from his brother.
 Grandma Connie getting Lance.....
Mom and Chase chilling, poolside! Just give Chase something to chew on and he is good to go. A very very relaxing morning/afternoon at the pool. Perfect weather.
 A little sprinkler fun too!
Kaylee and Lance running through the sprinkler.
LOVE this action shot of Lance.
Kaylee and Lance preparing the pizzas for the grill. YUM!
And watch out folks.... we have a mover among us! Yep, that's right. Chase started his little army crawl or scoot this weekend. This is going to get interesting and fun.... and require a little more supervision. Also trying to pull himself up. Can get to his knees, but not yet his feet. Only a matter of time.

This hat would have made for a good senior photo, don't ya think? LOL....

I took my camera along with for the senior photo shoot, thinking I might be able to work with my settings and camera, but I didn't get a chance to take too many. So, this is pretty much the only one I got, at the first stop....

And just a little brother time.... Lance loves for Chase to come in his room and play and lay in his bed. Here he is reading him a book. He is very quick to try and turn Chase's head saying "wook" which is look for Lance. Still having trouble with the "L" sound.
