Another weekend "at home" with no agenda. Just hanging out and doing the normal stuff, enjoying these little growing boys more than EVER! It has been getting warm, and on Friday night Keegan thought Lance might like to get a start to the summer with his pool...... Still pretty chilly water, so it didn't last long. Chase CRIED! Not ready for that yet I guess. But he looked pretty cute in his little swim trunks and hat, of course :-)
(I never did get the "real" camera out this weekend, so all of these photos are taken with my handy iPhone camera. Not too bad!)
But Chase turned happy pretty quickly after that! He is quite the cheeser I must say!

On Saturday afternoon, we attempted to go to the new KC Aquarium, however poor planning on our part and when we got there, the line was INSANE so we let Lance play in the fountains instead. He asked the entire way home " see sharks and fish?" Note to self - don't tell him where we are going until we get there! We'll have to plan better and go another time.
I got away for lunch and a movie on Sunday with a friend, so Dad was at home with the boys for a little while. When I came home, they were all just playing together in the sand.... Chase cracks me up! Getting Lance and trying to do what his brother is doing, play in that sand. And Big Brother lance reminding Chase that "You not have sand Chase. You choke on it!"
Since the old helmet is just too small for Lance's big head, and he wasn't too thrilled about wearing it either, we took him to the store to pick out a new helmet. He was pretty excited about this new Shark helmet and glady wore it! We got two new bike carriers so we can all go for a family bike ride...
Chase too - in Lance's old helmet. Just a tad big, but he'll get there quicly I'm sure. These boys have big noggins. Took Chase for his 1t bike ride and he loved it so much he fell asleep :-) Just like Lance did on his first bikeride.
Never a dull weekend or day with these two growing boys! Stay tuned in a day or two for Chase's 8 month update and an update on Lance too.
