Bye Bye Crib.... Hello toddler bed! We made the switch this weekend, and after Mom reading about all of the "horror" stories about this transition possibly taking several weeks..... Lance has barely even noticed the change. With taking just one side off the crib, he has continued to stay in his bed at nap and bedtime and even in the morning when he wakes up. I give thanks to day-care because I think he is so used to his rule at school of staying on his cot at nap time, that he is treating this new toddler bed the same way. When the Big Boy room is finished, we'll start transitioning there. That may be a much bigger deal.

What's dad doing?
"my new toddler bed!"
Learning to climb in and out of the new bed.
My sweet little reader wanting to read a book in his new toddler bed.
The new game. Throwing all of his blankets and animals out of the crib, then back in the crib...over and over and over!
The new temporary set up. His big boy mattress on the floor next to his toddler bed.
1st nap in his toddler bed! He didn't even notice a change.... just like sleeping in his crib.
And we decided to let Lance help with a little painting in his new BIG BOY room! With VERY close supervision of course.
Mom helping out.
All by himself.
I bought some transportation stencils to make some artwork and they came in handy for our little project.
