CHASE - 9 months (a little late)

So I am a couple of weeks behind on this update. I did take the pictures in time, just didn't get around to the posting. I am not sure that I will be getting Chase in the nap nanny through the first year.... you will see below why this might be a bit of a challenge. Honestly, just getting one of him and the monkey from here on out might be near impossible.

This was one of my most fun and favorite monthly photo shoots by FAR! Lance wanted in on the action and capturing the two of them interacting and giggling and smiling, along with the dogs made for some fun captures!

This one might be my favorite :-) Out sweet Cooper who is hanging in there. Almost through 4 months of his chemo medicine and being such a trooper. Chase is loving to army crawl to the dogs any chance he gets - he also loves their water bowl, toys and food....
oh, AND their soft doggy beds too! He followed Lance right over and climbed up with him. Daisy is watching for birds or rabbits... the boys I am not so sure.

And this would be why the nap nanny pictures are getting more difficult..... Take #1
 Take # 2
 Take # 3
Take # 4, now strapped in! He will show me!!!!
Finally, his face..... and of course into the mouth - EVERYTHING into the mouth
And just one sweet picture of him and his monkey at 9 months.
It's so much fun to watch the boys together... although now that Chase is crawling and pulling himself up, the words "MINE" have become quite annoying as Lance doesn't always think it is funny when Chase gets him and his toys.
But all Lance has to do is laugh or smile or talk to Chase and Chase lights up! He just loves his BIG brother.
My sweet boys. 9 months old and Lance only 2 short months away from 3 years old.

At 9 months YOU: (this will be a brief one, since I am behind)

  • Are a speed army crawler. The way you do it almost looks like the butterfly stroke on the ground... maybe you are going to be our little swimmer!
  • Pull yourself up any chance you get.
  • LOVE LOVE LOVE your veggie puffs, cheerios, and goldfish crackers. We have tried some other finger foods, but your faces tell it all. You are not fond of eggs, avocado, carrots, peas, waffles, nutrigrain bars.... I keep trying. You did like part of Lance's veggie pattie though - surprisingly.
  • Usually sleep through the night. Maybe once a week will still get up once for a pacifier or a rub on the back.
  • Have one bottom right tooth. The other is on it's way, but not through yet. The tooth coming in did cause two fun nights for us though.
  • Smile and laugh when I whistle and try to blow air from your mouth to imitate me
  • Wave bye bye and say "Ah Bah"
  • Imitated me for the first time with the sign language for "all done!"
  • do NOT want to be left alone in a room. If Lance is with you, that is ok. But you just don't want to be alone.
  • BARELY like the jumper anymore. We can get maybe 10 minutes in, but I think you'll be out within the next month.
  • Are such a HAPPY HAPPY baby! We are so very lucky.
