I am so fortunate and lucky to be able to spend Fridays at home with the boys! This is our 3rd one now, and they have been complete angels for me :-) Last Friday we did a little photo shoot. I asked Lance if he wanted to put on the same shirt as his brother and take pictures..... "Ya, thats kew-all" was his reply! This is a new word he has learned since he started the BIG school! He says it often and at the funniest times. "Ya, that kew-all!" will be his reply when we pick out his CARS or Woody shirt when getting dressed. Or another new one "ha, that fun!"
Lance has also learned to spell his first word P-I-G! Except as we now try to spell other words like cow and his spelling for ALL words is now PIG. We have also added anew movie to the nightly selection - which Mom and Dad are thrilled about. Monster Inc. or as Lance calls Monsters Pinc for some reason. We were a little "iffy" about him watching it and being scared, but so far he loves it and just laughs.
Lance loves to greet Chase when he wakes up in the morning and when he wakes from naps. He climbs up and says "morning chase" "take a GOOD nap buddy!" he has obviously been listening to Mom a few times - LOL! We then usually read a couple of books together and Chase just smiles every time he hears Lance's voice.
Lance introduced Chase to Elmo. And Chase was GLUED! Check out these lazy boys, chillin watching a little Elmo!
Chase is getting bigger and bigger each day. Still SO flippin happy and just an amazingly good baby! His naps at day care are short ones, but he is still giving us at least 8-9 hours if not more each night. If we could only keep him up past 7pm, it would work perfectly! I'll take it.
This is us just today, having some fun play time! Lance was sharing his cars with Chase, lining them up and all was good until Chase started moving his arms and knocking them down on the floor. HA. Just the beginning. Lance did NOT like it. "Chase, no cars on floor" he said over and over as I just laughed!!!! LOL
And Chase's favorite chew toy - thanks Aunt Nicky! You pick out the BEST toys!
Work is CRAZY busy, and I have not been getting home with the boys until 6ish. So our weekly nights are short and fast. I absolutely LOVE my 10 minute ride home listening and conversing with Lance and my other favorite part of the day is just listening to Chase coo and gaaa each morning when he wakes up. Non-stop smiles for 10-15 minutes. Just those 25-30 minutes of each day make me feel like the luckiest Mom ever!
Well, this concludes the period of time each Friday that BOTH boys are down for a nap - so it's off to change diapers, feed bottles, and play with garbage trucks!
