Anniversary Weekend

Hard to believe - 6 years already that we have been married. And 11 1/2 years that we have been together. When we look back, we sure have made lots of memories together!

Since Keegan was out all week, and we spent lots of last week preparing for camping, we had lots of shows to catch up on. So Friday night after work we took the dogs for a walk and then made a meatloaf and just relaxed and watched some tv. Oh - and had some VERY YUMMY Whitey's Ice Cream that Keegan brought home from the QC! Before I forget, I took Daisy to the vet this week and we just got her results back..... she is Heartworm free!

Saturday Keegan woke me up with breakfast in bed - Cheesy Scrambled eggs and pancakes. :-) Then we took the dogs to the dog park - Daisy's first experience off her leash and she did very well. Then off to Legends, the outlet mall. We did some shopping and then decided to kill some time at Nebraska furniture Mart. I could spend days walking around there..... Then we drove down to the Power and Light District and had an early dinner at Gordon Biersch. It was a busy place with people watching College Football, people getting out of The Lion King play, and other people just arriving for a Metallica concert at the Sprint Center. But we were able to find a table outside on the patio.

Then we were able to just relax and watch more of our shows on Saturday evening. Today, Sunday morning/afternoon we hung out at the house, breakfast, TV, on the computer (writing my camping blogs!) Took the dogs for a cold and windy walk and decided to go out for our Anniversary dinner. We ate at Cantina, obviously a Mexican restaurant, and then went bowling. Keegan kicked my butt...... we were going to play best out of three, but Keegan won the first two, so we didn't play the third. We headed over to Target to pick up a few things and believe it or not, they actually had one Wii left. After playing at his parents house, he decided that it would be fun to have, so we purchased the Wii and went back home and challenged each other in a few games. And I kicked Keegan's butt in the Wii bowling! :-) I wish I would have had the camera out. Cooper was quite amused and confused with what was going on when we started playing. Barking and jumping, it made it kind of difficult to play!

And that was our weekend.
