We had our first puking experience Friday night - 2am! Don't worry, no pictures, although a home video might have taken first place and won us some money.... since Mom and Dad are amateurs with this! Poor Lance, he was so confused and scared. We went through Lance's bedding, our bedding, a set of towels, 3 pairs of pajamas for Lance, 2 pairs of pajamas for Mom... FUN FUN stuff! Lance woke up saying "Lancey, all done sick!" And was FULL of energy. You would have never known he was sick.
We took this opportunity to ditch the pacifier at bedtime. He has been getting his paci only at bedtime since he was about 10 or 11 months old. And we knew it was probably about time to see how he would do without it, but just never took that leap.... until Saturday night. I told him that his paci's were all gone since he got sick on them and we didn't have anymore. He took it well and has been going to sleep and sleeping just fine without them! He still talks about them and the fact that baby Chase has a paci, but seems to be ok with not having his own. We told him he is a BIG boy and that big boys don't have paci's just babies. So that was that.... now onto thinking about potty training!
