Here they are giving kisses!!! So sweet!
Leaning in to kiss.
Climbing on the rocks and posing for a picture.
Look how excited Lance is to be playing with Lena!
Cooling off with some water.
AND of course, Lance loving the sand.... Lena wasn't so sure about the feel of sand on her toes..
Just a couple of fun updates on Lance right now.... at 26 months!
- His FAVORITE night time book to read is his Halloween Biscuit book. He is all about pumpkins and "monsters... ahhoooo" - LOL. So funny.
- Our night time movie has now changed to CARS! But there are specific scenes with tractors that we HAVE to watch!Even though Mom and Dad are glad to change it up a bit, CARS is now starting to get a bit old too!
- He has this thing with wanting to shut doors ever time we enter a room. He calls it "shuppa door" Every time we enter the bathroom, or his room, or Chase's room, he chants "shuppa door"
- He likes to "shake it up" - referring to Chase's bottles. So every time he is home when it is time for Chase to eat, we stick a cap on and let him shake it up.
- He has discovered gummy bears.... yes, gummy bears are the new "bribe tool" at the Dodson house. And when it is time to brush teeth at night, rather than us telling him it is time to brush out Oreo cookies from his teeth, he now tells us, " time to brush out gummy bears" without us even referring to them.
- When we do eat OREO's (he tries to spell it out - "O,R,O" he now likes to dunk the oreo in milk like Mom and Grandpa Gant used to!
- The vegetable selection that we used to be able to get him to eat has dwindled right now to peas and corn only. And he really doesn't want much to do with meat. Chicken only pretty much. He has decided he likes grapes though, so we now eat three fruits! Apples, bananas and grapes. Even though at school he will eat pears and peaches.... and meat apparently!
- I have gotten out all of the baby toys and organized and put them away in Chase's room and Lance is really digging all the "new toys" I can't believe how much he likes playing with them.
- His counting right now goes like this "1,2,3..... or ,6,7,8" He doesn't always start with one and he leaves out 4 and 5 sometimes. Just last night though, we were counting buses in a book and he actually counted them, all 6 of them on his own. So from 1-6. Mom was SOOO excited!
Ok, I guess that is it for the Lance update as Chase is SCREAMING at me to eat right now!
