"Doo Duss" = "School Bus"
Lance is IN LOVE - OBSESSED - with school buses! Every time we get into my car he insists that I play the school bus song.... He loves the part when the people on the bus go up and down.
Here he is playing with all of his school bus toys. It is so funny to watch him try and pick them all up and carry them around. And he actually has 1 more that didn't make the picture.
Santa delivered a couple of BIG toys to our house since he knew we wouldn't have much room to bring them back in the car with us. First, I had to show Lance the "go" button....
and then he was OFF.... watch out dogs.
We had a beautiful 67 degree day here in Kansas (although still a little windy), so we were able to take Mickey for a ride outside.
Lance got a huge set of Geo Trax for Christmas and we were able to clear out the basement and set it all up. He just loves to go downstairs - used to want to go down there to get on his slide "doo duss" and now he just wants to play with his trains. Thank you Aunt Corey and cousins!
We went to our friends house (Dave and Benno) on New Years Day - and they collect Elmo toys - that is "MELMO" to Lance. He couldn't get enough of them! He would have sat in the basket all day with them if we let him.
They also have a movie style popcorn machine and Lance was introduced to popcorn for the first time - LOVED it - imagine that!! Another carb :-) 
We had a little "art" time at home this weekend. Which lasted all of ....... 3 or 4 minutes maybe. I am not sure how they get him to stay focused for long enough to complete an entire project at school. He kept grabbing the markers by the wrong end and got frustrated..... most of the marks on the paper that you see are from Mom, not Lance. Pretty sure lance had more on his hands than on the paper. Lol.
The sun was out ALL weekend and the dogs take EVERY opportunity to soak up the rays. Here they are actually sharing the sun!
HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone! Hope your 2010 was filled with as much excitement as ours. Looking forward to a busy and eventful 2011.
