- Have 6 teeth. 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. You have this cute little space between your top two teeth. I keep trying to get a picture but this is the best I could get!
- You are full of energy and go non-stop all day except for your 1 long nap (2-3 hours usually)!
- Are almost running :-) You don't want to be held or in a stroller for too long. You want to get out and move, move move.
- Have tried lots more foods, but definitely have your favorites! Put any vegetable in front of you and you will pretty much eat it! Fruits however, you are quite picky about. BANANAS are you absolute favorite. You do applesauce but aren't a big fan of actualy apples. You used to do pears, but you are picky about those now too. Absolutely NO peaches! No to blueberries, no to rasberries. Grapes, depends on your mood - but you do like raisins. Ravioli and pastas are your main dinners. And peanut butter, you are still getting used to. Yogurt you would eat for ANY meal, if we let you.
- We could just have boxes of books, and get rid of toys and I think you would be as happy as could be. You love to read and flip through books.
- Sign Language you now know - I will try and get a video of these because they are kind of hard to explain: "All Done" You wave your hands in the air with the sign for all done when you are finished eating. You like that sign so well that you do it when I lay you down to change your diaper - because you don't want your diaper changed :-) LOL. Smart boy! "More" you just started doing. I don't think you know what it means yet. But you repeat it when we do it, when we ask if you want more of something. "Eat" If we ask you if you are hungry, you will do the sign for eat. Moving your hand to and from your mouth. And you are very good at waving bye-bye. You know our routine in the morning and as soon as we are on the stairs, walking down, you start waving bye-bye to the doggies.
- Words you are saying, that Mom and Dad can identify. But a stranger off the street probably would not understand :-) "Snack" you say something that sounds like "nat" or "nack" Just today, we didn't even have to ask you if you were ready for a snack. It was almost snack time and you were playing and said "nack" "Uh-Oh" Last week you wouldn't stop saying this, this week has tapered off. I woke up last week to you in your crib, throwing the pacifiers out, saying "uh-oh" I Love it! So much fun. Still saying doggy all the time. You are really good at the monkey sound - and love to say it. "Hi" You are so friendly and love to say hi to everyone. "Bubbles" you say something like "bubba" and you LOVE your bubbles. Not bath bubbles, but outside bubbles.
- Animal sounds: Sssss for snake, Mmmm for Moo, AhAhAh for Monkey - you do this one a lot! And you are fascinated with any page that has a bear on it, but really don't say anything when you see it.
- When you hear music, you start to dance. You sway back and forth if you are standing or rock your head forward and backward if you are sitting. You love to listen to music and clap! If I start singing, "if you're happy and you know it" you will start clapping your hands.
- You give High-Fives - neighbor Jerry taught you that. You think it is so funny.
- You are so sleepy after a long day at day-care and are almost always in bed by 7pm and sleep until 7am. Mom and Dad are so lucky to have some time after you are all fast asleep.
- LOVE to be outside - you would spend all day outside if we let you. And we would have to make bubbles the entire time!
Shopping at Lowe's with Dad. So Serious - just like Dad!
