Visitors and Tube Surgery

Last weekend Larry, Nicky and the boys came to visit. We had a very fun filled weekend and Lance loved having his cousins to play with! We went swimming a couple of times, went to the zoo.... and had plenty of time to play at the house too. The adults took turns for date night too, which was a nice treat for both. Keegan and I saw our first movie in about a year and a half.
Josh found Uncle Keegan's box of old cars and trucks and those toys entertained the boys all weekend long.
More playtime with the cars and trucks!Keegan got out the tractor for the boys. Dylan takes his first tractor ride with Larry!
This past Friday, Lance had his ear tube surgery. We had to wake him up to be at the hospital at 6:45am. He was really good and entertained pre-op. But I had to hold back tears post-op - I felt so bad for him after the surgery. He was just so out of it and couldn't stop crying..... Finally, we got him interested in his favorite - a Nutri-Grain bar and after a couple of hours of sleep he was pretty much back to his happy self!

In his little gown and booties.

Aunt Liz came to visit this past week too and she brought along Lance's birthday present. He got to open his very first gift and LOVED the tissue paper more than anything! Thanks Aunt Liz for all of the super cute clothes and PJ's.

Tonight was my company block party/picnic. Below is a pic of three of the "admin" babies. Lance - 1, Jonah - 10 months and Lena - 8 months. We talk about them all the time at work and finally have had the chance to get them together. It was a bit hot out and almost past ALL of their bedtimes, so there wasn't much time to play.

Lance had his eye on this blow up jumpy thing all night. I couldn't figure out what he kept trying to turn and look at while we were eating, but when we were finished I went walking with him and he led me right to this... and found out that they would actually let him go in. He did not stop laughing and smiling. He crawled and rolled around and would have stayed in there another hour I think.....

He was the smallest one, so Mom went in with him just to make sure he didn't get jumped on. He thought it was so funny to see the other kids jump and fall.
