Although Keegan and I BOTH agree that a real Christmas tree is the tradition we remember and would like to continue..... until we are home on Christmas to enjoy it, we will have to settle for a "home grown" from the attic tree!
And even thought last year was Lance's 1st official Christmas, I feel like this year he is really getting to experience Christmas for the first time. Helping dad with the tree, helping with the shopping, and I am sure will help with wrapping and baking in the upcoming weeks.
He wasn't so sure about the texture of the tree.
When we were out shopping, Lance picked out his own first Christmas ornament. No joke, out of all the ornaments that were at his level at the store, this is the one he picked out - an elephant! And he made his elephant noise throughout the entire store as he carried it around while we were shopping too, LOL! :-) A perfect keepsake ornament for this year since he LOVES elephants and makes such a good elephant noise.

He didn't like the idea of hanging and keeping the elephant on the tree. It's a new toy for him and he didn't want to give it to the tree. He kept pulling it off - it was a fun game, for the first 2 minutes. Lots of opportunities for some photos though. Grandma and Grandpa, you may want to hang those "pretty" ornaments a bit higher this year :-)
He thinks he is cool getting to stand on the step stool.
