Kit Kat Bar

15 weeks today - Nothing too new to report on other than I am definitely past the sickness stage of my pregnancy and able to eat just about everything. We had a Dr. Checkup yesterday afternoon and were able to hear the baby's heart beat again - seemed like it took forever for the Dr. to find it, but it was loud and clear once he found it! I am back up to the exact weight that I was at my first appointment, so now the weight gain begins! My next visit will be on March 26th , at 19 weeks, and I will get to have another sonogram done - can't wait to see more pictures of the little Kit Kat Bar :-) Yes, that is right, this week the baby is measuring in at about 4 - 4 1/2 inches, which is the size of one kit kat bar. Sorry, couldn't find a picture of the individual bar. Kids, this means its candy bar time! Maybe Mom and Dad can buy you a Kit Kat Bar so you can see just how big 4 - 4 1/2 inches is.
Wal-Mart Experience - So, we found furniture that we liked at a very reasonable price at Wal-Mart and rather than paying over $300 to have it shipped to the house, we opted for the Site to Store, FREE shipping! And when it came in to the local store, we had to go and pick it up. Rather than typing out a VERY long and memorable experience, lets just say that you definitely get what you pay for - or in this case what you don't pay for! I think it took us 45 minutes to an hour to finally find someone who knew what they were doing and able to find our stuff. Then, the next night, the remainder of our order came in. And of course the same employees weren't working on night 2, so it was going through the same chaos 2 nights in a row! Fun Stuff :)

We (well Keegan mostly) started putting some of the pieces together last night - So far only one minor scratch - so we'll cross our fingers.

The dogs just couldn't wait to see what was in the boxes and help out! They had actually chewed off a corner of one of the boxes while we were at work!

One box down, 7 more to go!

Cooper checking out item number #2 after it is all put together.....

Cooper extremely bored, watching Keegan put together box #3.

Keegan trimming the baby room last weekend, getting ready to get the first coat on.

Three pieces (boxes) down - Only 5 more to go! Should be a productive weekend.
So, the orange looks a bit bright in this picture, but it matches the bedding perfectly, and it is ONLY this one small part of the wall in the room that we decided to paint this color. Once we get some things on the wall too, I'm sure it will tame down a bit. I'll post more pictures once we get everything together and in place.
