A few updates for the middle of the month. Lance mastered the skill in two short days of getting into the sitting position from the tummy/crawling position. And does it CONSTANTLY!
He can pull himself up all the way to standing, but won't do it too often or unless someone is standing right by him - he gets terrified. But he is starting to pull himself up to his knees more often.
With help from Mom or Dad of course, he is pretty good at crawling up the stairs.... he really doesn't seem to go near them unless we are around though... I am sure that will change soon.
Just this morning he actually crawled on his knees, not the army belly crawl, about 4 or five movements to get to a toy.
Lance likes to put things on his head - hence the pictures below of the waffle and the book on his head :-) lol.
We are trying to introduce more "real" foods to Lance. He loves waffles and does ok with toast. I cut up some rotini with a tomato sauce the other night and he seemed to like that after the first couple of bites. He is lazy though and really doesn't want to feed himself.....
This first picture is from Old Shawnee Days. A local festival that we went to (very briefly as it was HOT!) We sat down to watch some kids dancing to live music. Lance just LOVES to watch other kids.
